What is the difference between static and dynamic Revit content?

Static Revit content is a basic product selection (no accessories) and is intended for use as a dimensional accurate placeholder (Revit families from our website and eCAPS). Dynamic Revit content is provided from the CAPS program and includes the options and accessories as part of the dimensional model. It also includes selected electrical and performance information.
